world of film and awards. This is that piece.
In the first year of the Oxford Film Festival we took to the streets
to find out what Oxonians think about the application of nautical
aviation during the cold war. Instead, however, they talked mostly
about movies.
In 2006, a film was submitted by an unknown filmmaker named Niles
Indigo. The film so moved the screening committee that we decided to
never speak of it again. It is, for lack of a better word
combination, tragic-beauty. Here it is.
