GLORIOUS MAIL is the story of a gay antique dealer and community theatre actor who causes a local and federal controversy with his new mailbox which was made by his lesbian artist friend, prompting a Jewish filmmaker to travel from NYC to the small town of Sinnaville to cover the story. Set in 2004, this hilarious Southern mockumentary explores tolerance and equality and celebrates gay marriage in Mississippi long before it was legal. The official trailer for the film can be previewed here.
GLORIOUS MAIL was an Official Selection for the 2007 Bluegrass Independent Film Festival, the 2007 First Annual Long Beach Q Film Festival, and the 2007 Indie Memphis Film Festival. It was awarded Second Best Feature at the 2007 Appalachian Film Festival and Best Actor at the 2007 Birmingham SHOUT! Gay and Lesbian Film Festival and was the Winner of the True Grit Award for Best Feature at the 2007 Indie Grits Film Festival.
