THE 2016 OXFORD FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES “A CONVERSATION WITH GREG SESTERO” TO REPLACE PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED TALK WITH JOEY LAWRENCE

The 2016 Oxford Film Festival announced that A Conversation with Greg Sestero has been added to the festival’s schedule to replace a previously announced filmmaker talk with Joey Lawrence set to take place on Friday, February 19 at 7:30PM at the Malco Theaters.

The event is free to the public and will feature a discussion with the actor and author, focusing on his book, The Disaster Artist, about his experiences making THE ROOM (2003), arguably one of the most notorious “bad” movies ever made.

As well as starring in that film, Sestero also appears in DUDE BRO PARTY MASSACRE III, which will also be screening at the Oxford Film Festival.

The talk will feature clips from THE ROOM and delve into the making of that picture, Sestero’s involvement with the film, his thoughts on working with the film’s eccentric director/star, Tommy Wiseau, and the upcoming film based on his book starring James and Dave Franco. Lawrence had a scheduling conflict and was unable to attend the festival as previously planned.

Tickets and passes are available for purchase to attend the 2016 Oxford Film Festival. For more information go to http://www.oxfordfilmfest.com.
